LAKE LOUISE, Alberta – Swiss skier Lara Gut will race with another name this week in the wake of getting hitched in the offseason.
The Swiss ski organization says the previous in general World Cup champion will be Lara Gut-Behrami when downhill preparing begins Tuesday in Lake Louise.
Gut wedded soccer player Valon Behrami after he came back from playing for Switzerland at the World Cup.
Both experienced childhood in the Italian-talking district of Switzerland, and Behrami as of now plays for Italian club Udinese in Serie A.
The Swiss group refreshed Gut’s profession life story page on the International Ski Federation site.
The 27-year-old Gut has 24 World Cup wins, an Olympic bronze decoration in downhill from the 2014 Sochi Games and five big showdown awards.
