In the wake of winning in his pro-MMA debut in January, heavyweight Jake Hager will battle again at Bellator 221 on May 11.
Hager, 36, a previous star of the WWE ring for over 10 years under the name Jack Swagger, appeared at Bellator 214 on Jan. 26 in Inglewood, California. He crushed JW Kiser by means of arm-triangle gag accommodation in the first round.
Prior to his vocation in pro wrestling, Hager wrestled at the University of Oklahoma, where he was enrolled as a two-sport competitor in football and wrestling. Hager proceeded to wind up an All-American wrestler as a senior.
Hager’s rival for Bellator 221, which happens at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, has not yet been declared.
